29k Productions

About The Project: 

29k Productions specializes in Photography and Video production. I designed the original 29k website around August 2007. After a few years it was in need of a revamp, updating the site design and layout to take advantage of more modern web conveniences. What you see here is the result of a complete re-imagining of the 29k Productions web-presence. We focused this time on highlighting the products offered, photography and video production/editing, by showcasing a rotation of featured photos on the front page. Another goal was making photos and videos more accessible to both the site maintainers and the end user, as well as creating a system for keeping clients photos secure.

Battlestar Group

About The Project: 

Being a huge Battlestar Galactica fan, I volunteered to help when our local fan club was formed. I opted to evoke the dark setting of the new Battlestar Galactica series when creating this site. with subtle nods to the series in the form of clipped corners on the page, as well as iconic symbols throughout the site. Battlestar Group is designed to accommodate the creation of new "Battlestars" (local fan clubs) with relative ease by administrative users who are not exceptionally web-savvy. Each "Battlestar" receives their own homepage, as well as forums that only their members may post in.

Chasm City Syndicate

About The Project: 

Chasm City Syndicate is the name of the player corporation that my friends and I founded in the game EVE Online. We set out to distinguish ourselves from the crowd of other player-run organizations by creating a crisp, well-designed website and brand identity. One of the core features of the site is three separate content types that are available for administrators. This allows the corporate officers to add "Services", "Clients" and "Job" listings at their leisure, without the need for a web developer.

Digital Lizard Print

About The Project: 

I was asked by my boss to build a Print-On-Demand site that could specifically be branded as Digital Lizard, since most of our projects are branded for our clients. We had determined the need to have our own custom POD site to let our clients submit their orders more quickly and easily. Digital Lizard Print is built on a modified Pageflex Storefront. In addition to the setup and skinning of the Pageflex Storefront, I was also asked to create several "Static" pages that could reside outside of Pageflex for SEO purposes. The transition from Static pages to Pageflex pages was made nearly seamless to allow the user a smooth user experience.
